Promotional Products like Branded Pens May Have More Impact Than You Think
- Published: Tuesday, 02 June 2015 18:39
You may not realize it, but that ink pen you write with or the coffee mug that gives you a boost of energy is effective in more ways than one. In addition to serving as a writing instrument or something that holds your cup of Joe, branded office supplies serve an informational purpose, and RP & Associates took note of this. We specialize in and sell personalized supplies like pens, keychains and mugs, and released an infographic highlighting the connection companies have to their customers and potential clients. This infographic is the result of various consumer surveys, with the figures revealing that branded materials are just as effective as the traditional billboard or radio commercial, if not more so. The infographic states that branded materials like hats or shirts make up nearly a third of the promotional advertising market. Products like pens or keychains also serve as a purpose; according to one recent survey, more than 80 percent say they keep promotional items they find useful, while 38% find the products to be a constant reminder of a company’s services. Many do not think about it, but that branded ink pen or coffee mug goes a long way in spreading word of mouth. According to research, office products are used an average of 50 times a month, while writing instruments are used an average of 64 times. In addition, social media habits play a role, especially when it comes to free stuff! Of those polled, nearly 42 percent said they “Like” a company on Facebook or follow that company on Twitter, in order to receive a free product. Furthermore, 28 percent said they would make a positive post after receiving the product. The future appears bright for the promotional products industry, which is expected to increase by 0.4 percent in 2013. With the advancements in technology and social media, this number could very well increase throughout the decade.

Moscow Mule Mugs as low as $3
- Published: Tuesday, 02 June 2015 18:37
A traditional Moscow Mule is a cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime served in a copper mug; it gained popularity in the US during the vodka craze in the 1950s. Today these classic copper mugs are used for serving all types of refreshing drinks in addition to a true Moscow Mule. The copper finish and vintage charm is perfect for serving both hot and cold beverages.
While Moscow Mule Mugs are gaining popularity, they're often too cost prohibitive to use for most restaurants, spirit brands, and bars; not anymore! we've created a new way to manufacture Moscow Mule Mugs which reduces the cost to as low as $3. We use aluminum and stainless steel mugs which are then copper plated to give you a Copper Moscow Mule Mug at a fraction of the normal price. The stainless steel and aluminum materials are also great for serving drinks because they don't taint the flavor of the beverage like some other metals do. We can also brand the mugs with your logo to promote your brand making them perfect for a take home item.

The Hitch, our custom bottle replica shot glass, was recently featured in the June 2014 Issue of Beverage Industry Magazine. You can see the article at this link or check it out at the bottom of this page.
If your not familiar with The Hitch, it's one of our patented and most popular products. It's a novelty sidecar shot glass that is custom designed and manufactured to replicate your brand's bottle; we can also make it a custom shapes for restaurants, hotels, resorts, and other industries.
The concept is simple, when someone takes a shot of a new spirit, flavor, or infusion, they often forget what they're drinking the minute they're done. The Hitch can be used on-premise to promote your brand and make sure it gets attention; one person sees another with The Hitch and they immediately want to know what it is and how they get one. It generates a buzz and increases sales on-premise, but it also helps patrons with bottle recognition so your bottle stands our on the shelf when they're making an off-premise purchase. It's also a great give-away item that can be packaged with a gift-set or VAP. Contact is today for a sample or to get your custom Hitch.
A new kind of sidecar
As a new serving accessory option for the foodservice and on-premise channels, RP & Associates offers The Hitch. This marketing concept enables liquor companies to spread brand awareness by affixing miniature branded bottles to various types of drinkware, including Margarita glasses, straight glasses, pilsner glasses and glass bottles. The miniature version of a full-size alcohol bottle shows the consumer and others in the bar or restaurant what brand of alcohol is in the cocktail. In addition, the 1.5-ounce miniature container can serve a functional role in holding an additional shot of liquor for the consumer to add to the drink. The Hitch also is reusable for the consumer to take home as a souvenir or for the bar or restaurant to clean and use again.
